The US housing sector has shown some month on month increases in the last few months, thanks to the 8000 dollars credit provided by the Obama administration as part of the housing sector revival strategy.
The scheme has helped many first time home buyers to buy their dream home with government aid. But the scheme is coming to an end on November 30th, and the US government is likely to close down the scheme because it has already cost over three billion dollars.
Also with unemployment rate at 9.4%, the housing sector might continue to face tough times irrespective of government aid. So we can fairly expect the closure of the scheme on scheduled date.
