A British scientist has come out with a computer which can read a human mind. The scientist creation is the first of its kind and is a breakthrough in all these ages. The scientist says this invention is “a telepathy, step closer to reality”. The university college of London was the institute behind the discovery. Eleanor Maguire and his colleagues are the reason behind this. The research was conducted in between 10 volunteers.

The main focus was given to the hippocampus of the brain. As we know hippocampus is present in the center of the brain. Hippocampus plays a important role in the short term memory. A daily activity such as posting a letter, drinking a cup of coffee was shown for three seven seconds film. Volunteers were made to memories the short film and asked to recall.

The recall was done in a magnetic resonance imaging scanner. The magnetic resonance imaging scanner recorded the blood flow in the brain. The electrical patterns were then studied by a computer algorithm. Scientist said the computers were able to decipher the thought patterns by just scanning. The scanning can also show the memories and show the difference between different recollections.
