What the WHO was fearing has happened in the case of Swine Flu. Swine Flu has spread four fold in Australia in the last one week. While the number of Swine Flu infected people in Australia was just a handful a month back, it has shot up to over 1200 confirmed cases in the last few weeks.
The WHO is likely to announce the disease as a pandemic, as more reports of the disease spreading faster, comes from different parts of the world. India reported over 10 new Swine Flu cases in the last few days which has also worried WHO.
