The much awaited bank stress test results are now out, and there are over eight banks which need to raise nearly 75 billion dollars of new capital to shore up their weak balance sheets. The US FED has asked these banks, which includes Morgan Stanley, Wells Fargo, Citi Group and Bank of America, to raise the capital from the market and private sources before November 2009. These banks are expected to present their plan for raising capital to the US FED by June 6th.
