There are some good signs of friendliness between South Korea and North Korea after six months of tough stand by either side. North Korea started it all six months back by getting out of the negotiation team and followed it up with long range missile tests and furthered it with a dangerous underground nuclear test.
The two countries were close to military clash, and things have changed dramatically in the last one month, with North Korea expressing it’s willingness to have direct negotiations with US. And last week, it moved another step closer to normalization of ties with South Korea, by opening up the land border with South Korea to enable movement of laborers to South Korean industrial complexes.
