Researchers in Queensland University of Technology are developing solar cells which are transparent. These are expected to serve the purpose of being windows, while parellelly generating energy for the building. This will lead to reduction of the carbon emissions which is good for making the world less harmful. This technology when comes into large scale usage few years down the line, must also help in reduction of other power generating sources like crude oil / coal, which will result in reduction of damage to ozone layer.
