Scientists say that money can buy happiness but only if you earn more than your friends. A research done on life satisfaction show the dozen of countries found the perception and the growth. The happiness is seen for a short term and soon wears out not staying long say the researchers. The researchers are from the university of southern California and found how the money makes one happy and sad.
The research even found the way the rich are happier than the poor within a country. Everyone wants to earn more than others but does-not matter the actual amount earned says the study. The professor behind the study of the happiness was lead by professor Richard Easterlin. The first person to coined the theory was professor Easterlin and is known as Easterlin Paradox.
After several recent studies the Professor has set back to check out whether the same pattern remains. The professor Easterlin has gone through 37 countries around the world to check out the survey related.
The countries include economics like China,South Korea and Chile are taken for the examining the survey.
But the survey completes itself by stating that over time the happiness does not increase when income of person increases.
