Obama in the first nine months of his tenure as US President has taken lot of measures to improve global peace. He has been working on improving Israel - Palestine situation, and also has worked on pulling back North Korea and Iran to the negotiation table.
He has also been working on improving the relationship with the Middle East countries and also Afghanistan and Iraq so that the fundamentalist terrorism is rooted out of the world. And all these efforts have been recognized now, through the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009 to Obama. Let us all wish him all success in his peace efforts.
