North Korea has been in a confrontation mood right from March 2009. First it went out of the peace talks, and then sent out the UN nuclear inspectors out of its country.

In the month of April 2008 it tested out a long range nuclear capable missile, even at the cost of upsetting US and Japan and South Korea.  Now it has tested two nuclear explosions underground, in spite of warning from US and Japan.

There are experts who say that the North Korean confrontation mood might have been indirectly pushed by the Chinese government, in order to weild better negotiation with US on all global and bilateral issues.
