British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has stated that more UK troops will be sent to Afghanistan in addition to the 7800 British troops already in Afghanistan.  He said that UK is determined on its fight against the Taliban militants and terrorism and hence it is planning to send more troops to Afghanistan. He said the exact additional troops numbers will be confirmed by the army chief in few days.
