The metal prices have been crashing in the last two months, with Aluminium, Copper, Iron and Steel, zinc, Tin all recording losses ranging from 10% to 30%. The drop is expected to accentuate further in coming months due to reduced demand from China ( post Olympics) and also due to the impact of credit crisis. The high energy and food prices are also expected to impact the demand for metals from industries and automobiles.
