The Bangladeshi troops stumbled upon a mass grave said to contain the bodies of over 50 missing officers who were kept captive by the rebelling officers citing poor pay and conditions. One of the recovered bodies was that of the chief officer and this has sent shock waves across Bangladesh establishment. A government minister said that the rebelling officers found to have committed the murders would not get amnesty, because nobody has the right to kill others. At least 25 officers have been arrested so for and they are expected to be punished severely within the next one month.
