The Japanese Industrial production for the month of March 2009 showed signs of recovery with a 1.9% increase over February.

This is the first time the Industrial production data is showing positive growth rate in the last six months.  The slew of measures taken by the government to prop up the economy and also the depletion of inventory across industries have lead to this recovery.

A government survey showed that there could be a 4% Industrial production growth in the Month of April 2009.
