A Caspian airlines aircraft crashed within sixteen minutes of take off from Teheran few days back. The flight was heading from Teheran to Yemenia when the crash occurred. The Iranian airlines have been facing lot of technical inadequacies due to the sanctions on the country by US and the Western world.
The flight in question was a 17 year old Tupolev, which is said to be maintained poorly. The air crash could have been due to sabotage, which the Iranian police are investigating.
