A new overseas destination,which is surrounded by the blue and green seas has attracted many Indian wedding. The destination with its lush green mountains invites many to be married couple,the place is Bangkok,Thailand capital. Phuket is become a favorite place for more Indians for their wedding function and other parties.

For the past three years Thai tourism board and Thai-Indian restaurant owners say the number of events by Indians has increased. An restaurant owner Sehgal claims to have organized about 40 Indian weddings last year in Thailand . The present year Sehgal said to have organized some 28 events by now and still the number is increasing. The entire responsibility of the event like wedding are taken up by the management companies. Tome tour operators even take up the responsibility from transfer to and from airport and organizing the marriage.

The package include holding the wedding ceremonies,reception,shopping and the local transports. Most of the weddings are from the Marwari community from Kolkata take up Bangkok as venue for functions. Some other parts of India has even taken up the venue of wedding as Thailand especially Phuket last few years The Island resort of Phuket is constructed on tin mines which is in the southern part of Afghanistan. Thus Thailand can be given a name like the marriage destination of Indians which is affordable surrounded by the exotic beaches.
