Ahmedabad became the second Indian city to be attacked by unidentified militants last week. There were a total of nine blasts all within few hours, and two of them were said to be of high intensity. The bomb blasts have so far claimed nearly fifty lives and injured over 100 people. The entire government machinery has been put on high alert and over 10 bombs were found in another nearby business city Surat this week.
