The US senate Banking committee is all set to recommend the extension of Ben Bernanke as the US FED chief for another four years, whose current term is expiring on 31st January 2010.  The full senate is expected to vote on the issue during January 2010, which is seen more as a formality.

Ben Bernanke is seen as the key force behind the phenomenal US economic recovery back from recession in the middle of 2008. Another four year extension might give more time for Ben Bernanke to continue with the tough management of the US monetary policies, including staggered withdrawal of billions of stimulus initiatives.
