Inflation in India touched 8.24% this week, according to data released by the government on friday. This is the highest figure recorded in the last three years. The coalition Government is absolutely at the receiving end with inflation continuing to climb up for the last several weeks. The Government has turned defensive by putting the blame on high crude oil prices.
